Village Fete
The plot of the film Friday The 13th is thus: A bunch of young people go to a house in the country to have a good time. But they get chopped up.
The plot of every other Friday The 13th film (of which there are at least eight) is remarkably similar.
Yesterday, I followed in this grand cinematic tradition by going to a remote house in the country with the sole intention of having a good time. Which I did. And I didn’t get chopped up, which was a plus.
The house in question was The ‘Nand‘s place where they are recording their next album. And the occasion was… some kind of time out to get wrecked with a combo of friends and villagers…
That is how I ended up drinking until 7am with a man who kept going on about how he was supposed to be milking cows. (I also ate a pheasant burger which was good).
Needless to say, today has been a write-off. I spent most of the drive home laughing at a video I saw on a website Bob turned me on to. It’s always a bonus when you find someone out there doing something decent on the web for a change.
So peoples, I implore you to check out Limmy and see the sort of nonsense he gets up to. Check out ‘Requiem’ in the video section.
