I was under the assumption that in order for your hack to work, i had to put it in Mac HDD > System > Library > Keyboard Layouts.. where there was already a bundle for the default layouts.

In fact, i created a Scottish layout (based on the British layout – just a different flag and keyboard) using the Ukelele app.

I then saved as a bundle on my desktop, and dragged the bundle into Paul (my username) > Library > Keyboard Layouts.

Logged on and off, and selected it from my input sources. Worked perfect.

I’ve not tried using the Roman bundle in this way, although i think it might work in a similar fashion.

This looks perfect, however doesn’t seem to work on Snow Leopard. Have you ever updated since 2006?

There doesn’t appear to be a Roman.bundle in my system > library > keyboard directory!
