Here is the wee me (at the age when I thought I would have my own jetpack by 2005)…

Here is my paternal grandfather who was a mechanic and could probably have built a jetpack if he wanted. (He could also hold onto spark plugs with no ill effect and dish out electric shocks at will).

Here is my maternal grandfather who wrote poetry and farmed and who probably couldn’t care less about things like jetpacks.
