Is This Thing Actually Working?

The problem with not posting here for a while is that it the longer the gap is, the more difficult it gets to actually pick up where I left off. Not that there any real sort of continuity going on here or anything, it’s just that things happen and I decide to remember to post about them. And then I don’t. And then more things happen and before I know it I’m swamped with semi-relevant information.

In the meantime, anyone dropping by Burning Salad has got nothing to look at apart from the same out of date post about, for example, a radio controlled mouse. Hmm.

Anyway, I’m going to try an experimental new tactic. Instead of trying to weave the last few weeks ‘events’ into a seamless section of prose, I’m going to break it all up into separate posts. The purpose of this is twofold- it will not only refresh the main page in one go but also create the illusion that I have been more diligent than I actually have.
