Always Judge A Book By Its Cover

I’m constantly on the lookout for good books. Quite often ones that I’ve already got and have already read. Most of the covers they have on books these days are rubbish so I’m always trying to upgrade my books to editions with better covers, which usually tends to be older printings. Apart from having a better copy of the book, it also means I have to reread them. This is a good thing. The idea of having read a book but not the actual copy that you happen to own fills me with dread.

So I’ve got a good source for good books at good prices and occasionally I’ll come across a real find- but this beats them all hands down…

William Burroughs, Nova Express (1968, first Panther edition).
J.G. Ballard, The Wind From Nowhere
J.G. Ballard, The Drowned World
J.G. Ballard, The Terminal Beach
Ray Bradbury, The Martian Chronicles

One pound each!!
